History of Venetian Glass




     




The art of glass molding dates back over five centuries. Venetian glass makers in the 14 and 15th Century molded glass to create magnificient shapes and decorations. Their work of art was enjoyed by nobles and royalties throughout the old world, and was perceived to be of highest and finest quality anyone can imagine. Venetian glass carving extended later to include the creation of Venetian Mirrors. Different sizes and shapes began to appear. Hand-etched and beveled, these mirrors appear elaboratley with decorative rims and rosettes. Soon after, magnificient mirrors were hang on so many European castles and mansions.

Today, we are proud to present you with our Venetian Collection. Our mirrors are again, hand made and etched to every small detail possible. High quality in standard of productions were applied to bring a great product value. They are also priced very reasonably in order to add affordability all the way down to the retail lines. We carry some of the most successful sizes and shapes. Finaly, the old art of Venetian Mirrors can be cherished all over again.
